RG Carter, King Ecgbert School Extension Fixed Plant & Ventilation

We provided survey, prediction and assessment work for fixed plant and ventilation associated with the new sports facilities at King Ecgbert School, Sheffield. The work included review of planning noise limits, attended background sound measurements, BS 4142 assessment of roof-mounted condensers, air source heat pumps and heat recovery unit terminations, and prediction of sound levels at the nearest dwellings. The assessment was later updated following changes to the proposed plant, allowing compliance with the planning requirements to be demonstrated while avoiding unnecessary mitigation.
