Triton Power New Offices

We provided acoustic survey and building design advice for new office accommodation at the Triton Power site at Saltend Chemicals Park, Hull. The proposed offices were located close to the transformer and turbine hall, where high operational sound levels required careful acoustic design of the new walls, ceiling, glazing and floor construction. The work included measurement of existing industrial sound levels, assessment against BS 8233 internal noise criteria, prediction of sound transfer into the proposed offices and recommendations for acoustically isolated constructions to provide suitable working conditions within a demanding industrial environment.
