South Yorkshire Kart Club

We provided acoustic survey, assessment and mitigation advice for South Yorkshire Kart Club at Wombwell Go Kart Track, Barnsley. The work included measurement of kart sound at nearby residential receptors, comparison with the existing sound climate, assessment against relevant planning and environmental noise guidance, and advice on noise barrier mitigation around the circuit. Following completion of mitigation works, further measurements were undertaken to review the revised situation, and a noise management plan was prepared to support agreed operating arrangements and the long-term management of environmental noise from the venue.
