Wroot Homes New Development

We provided acoustic survey, assessment and design advice for residential development at the Seven Lakes Estate, Ealand, where the site was affected by road traffic, rail traffic, nearby industrial premises and the adjacent water sports lake. The work included long-duration environmental sound monitoring, BS 8233 internal noise predictions, BS 4142 assessment of industrial sound, assessment of jet ski activity on the lake, garden noise mitigation advice and detailed specifications for glazing, ventilation, ceilings and boundary fencing. Further acoustic input was provided as layouts evolved, including consideration of Approved Document O, ProPG, nearby commercial uses and final dwelling specifications to support planning, Building Regulations compliance and handover of the completed homes.
