Deer Shed Festival

We have provided acoustic consultancy, design advice and annual noise monitoring for Deer Shed Festival at Baldersby Park, Topcliffe, from its early permissions and licensing stages through to its established operation as a major outdoor music festival. The work has included advice on stage layout, music noise limits, receptor locations, sound system control, low-frequency sound management and compliance with the Code of Practice on Environmental Noise Control at Concerts. During each festival, live monitoring is undertaken at nearby noise-sensitive locations, with close liaison between the acoustic consultant, festival management and front-of-house engineers to maintain compliance while preserving high-quality sound for the audience.
