Symphony Group, Barnsley

We provided acoustic survey, design and consultancy input for new facilities at The Symphony Group site in Barnsley, including work to support BREEAM Hea 05 and Pol 05 requirements. The work included assessment of internal ambient noise levels, sound insulation between offices and other occupied spaces, ventilation noise, crosstalk attenuation, fixed plant noise and external noise impact from proposed building services. Further consultancy was later undertaken in relation to existing fixed plant at the wider manufacturing site, including BS 4142 assessment, source identification and advice on practicable noise control measures.
