Aquacultured, Grimsby
This project involved noise impact assessment and acoustic survey work for a proposed on-shore aquaculture facility at New Clee Sidings, close to Grimsby Seafood Village and nearby residential properties. The assessment considered operational sound from the main aquaculture building, energy centre, air handling plant, loading activity, car parking and HGV movements, with noise prediction modelling used to inform the planning application and identify appropriate acoustic design measures. The work also formed part of wider acoustic input to the project, including baseline survey data for ecological assessment.
