Fly By Nite, Redditch Rehearsal Venue

We provided acoustic survey, consultancy and design advice for the Fly By Nite live music rehearsal venue in Redditch, a large-scale facility used by international touring acts before commencing live shows. The work included acoustic testing of the completed rehearsal building, assessment of indoor-to-outdoor sound insulation, prediction of music audibility at nearby dwellings and measurement of reverberation within the main studio space. This formed part of our wider acoustic consultancy for entertainment venues, with particular attention given to low-frequency sound from large concert PA systems, likely operating levels during rehearsals and the acoustic performance of the building envelope.
