We provided acoustic survey, design advice and post-construction testing for the conversion of the Grade II listed building at 128 Holgate Road, York, into holiday-let apartments. The work included assessment of road traffic noise affecting bedrooms and living spaces, advice on secondary glazing and ventilation strategy, and detailed acoustic design for separating walls and floors to satisfy Approved Document E. Sound insulation testing was also undertaken on completion to demonstrate compliance with the Building Regulations.
